I believe Jesus is my one and only Savior. He is a prophet, priest, and king who came to Earth to die for mankind, the final sacrificial lamb for all people. Jesus acts as a mediator, and thus allows us to have an intimate relationship with God. I believe he is the prophesied king mentioned in the Old Testament; he is the savior of the world, Immanuel, Lamb of God, Redeemer, and the Son of Man.
My favorite Bible verse is 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. It states, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”. While spending Thanksgiving with my family, I realized I had so much to be grateful for. Even when I am stressed out or having a bad day, there is always something to be thankful for–my parents, friends, and for the things I already have and accomplished.
